Our Company
FOLX Systems, Inc. is a software solutions company providing software to home care agencies in our flourishing home care industry. Our mission is to empower our home care customers with the tools they need to better serve their clients by providing them with innovative, flexible products followed with exceptional support and service.
Jim White and Dr. Les Roub created FOLX Systems to fill a need in the Private Duty Home Care market. The industry is growing and changing very fast, and the majority of the home care providers are small- to medium-sized and can’t afford expensive and complicated software systems. FOLX was born to address the deficiencies in the IT segment of home care.
The FOLX name was chosen because it says a lot about who we are. "FOLX" is a derivative of "folks" – a term that signifies friendship, family, and trust. The "X" was chosen to distinguish our trade marking, marketing, and Web site, but it doesn't change the sentiment or our intention to be the software "folks" our customers trust and rely on. Our name gives us purpose and our knowledge gives us power. Together they are our "Power to Serve".
Unlike other vendors, which require expensive programming changes, FOLX’s software has been specifically designed to be flexible and customizable thereby allowing changes to be done quickly. Because FOLX software has been designed from the ground up with Private Duty agencies in mind, our customers can make their own changes instead of paying thousands of dollars for custom programming. Our customers even have the flexibility of purchasing the software and running it themselves, or allowing FOLX to host the system on its servers (ASP Model) and access their data through the internet.
FOLX, using GPS, Phone, and Internet technologies, allows your agency to track your employees’ locations and verify in real time that services actually occurred.
FOLX is committed to exceptional service after the sale. We intend to provide all the training and support necessary to operate and maintain the system obviating the need for dedicated IT personnel at the agency.
